D.C.-based jazz quintet “The Way,” led by pianist and founder Bob Boguslaw, heads to Clarksville Commons for a free afternoon of varied repertoire.  An acclaimed soloist and ensemble musician, Boguslaw brings two decades of experiences as a member of “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, together with appearances at the White House and esteemed concert venues, to the stage.  “The Way” quintet, playing together since 1995, combines elements of Latin jazz, contemporary jazz, and classical structure with original compositions, alongside reworkings of standards and pop tunes.  Spend a memorable afternoon listening to the music of this remarkably versatile and entertaining ensemble, while helping to usher in the St. Louis Church Concert Series 2023-24 season.
