Colleen Daly Eberhardt

Colleen Daly Eberhardt is Assistant Director of Music at St. Louis Parish and Artistic Director of the St. Louis Church Concert Series.  Off campus, the award-winning soprano performs regionally and throughout the United States and Canada with opera houses, symphony orchestras, and choral societies, captivating audiences with her powerful voice and arresting stage presence.

Ms. Daly’s repertoire ranges from newer works composed by contemporary musicians to beloved opera and musical theatre standards. Notable operatic engagements include Violetta (La Traviata), Musetta (La Bohème), and Contessa di Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro). As a concert and recital soloist, Ms. Daly Eberhardt has performed masses, oratorios, and many other sacred works, in addition to vocal solos for symphonic arrangements.

Ms. Daly holds a Bachelor of Music degree from DePaul University and a Master of Music from the University of Maryland, as well as an Artist Diploma from the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia.  She resides in Ellicott City with her husband, Terry Eberhardt, and two sons.

Eric Greene

Baritone Eric Greene has given highly acclaimed performances at leading opera houses throughout the United States and around the world.  His repertoire spans the traditional and contemporary—from roles in Carmen, Das Rheingold, and Khovanshchina to operas that premiered in the last decade, such as Moby-Dick and Life is a Dream. Highlights of recent seasons include principal roles in Porgy and Bess with the English National Opera, Nixon in China with the Scottish Opera, and Carousel with Opera North at the Barbican. Mr. Greene has also performed with symphony orchestras across the United States (Santa Fe, Cincinnati, Birmingham), in Puerto Rico, and abroad.

A native of Baltimore, Mr. Greene attended the Juilliard School of Music in New York.

Liz Mulligan

Liz Mulligan is a proud graduate of Northwestern University’s Theater and Music Theater Certificate programs, holding a Bachelor of Science in Speech from NU, in addition to a Masters in Education (Curriculum and Design) from National Louis University.  Liz has performed with The Chicago Humanities Festival, the Cathedral Choral Society, and, of course, as a soloist with the St. Louis Church Concert Series.  Favorite past performances include “A Little Night Music” (Mrs. Segstrom), “Children of Eden” (Aysha/Storyteller), “The Importance of Being Earnest” (Lady Bracknell), “Cinderella” (Joy), and “The Secret Garden” (Mrs. Winthrop).  Liz has served as a cantor and choral member for St Louis Church since 2013. 

 Liz is thrilled to be returning as a soloist for the 2020 Christmas at St. Louis Concert.  She would like to dedicate performances of “Sisters” and “Count Your Blessings” to her daughters, Maeve (8) and Madeleine (6).  This is certainly the year for all of us to count our blessings.

Karla Rivera

Soprano Karla Rivera, who enjoys a career as soloist, ensemble vocalist, recording artist, and educator, is making her St. Louis Church Concert Series debut.  Ms. Rivera’s operatic and concert engagements have featured her on stages throughout the world, including Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center. Ms. Rivera was particularly honored to play the role of Older Mary in the 2010 Carnegie Hall premier of “Oh My Son,” an operatic tableau about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. She has performed with Washington Adventist University’s New England YouthEnsemble, ProMusica, and The Columbia Collegiate Chorale

Away from the mainstage, Ms. Rivera is actively involved in charitable organizations that use music as a platform for community outreach and engagement, such as LiveFor1 and Voices of Inspiration. She sings with the Choir of the Church of the Little Flower in Bethesda, teaches voice, and works for the Office of the Provost at Washington Adventist University. Previous appointments include a nine-year tenure as director of the Georgetown Presbyterian Chorale in Washington, D.C.

Despite her demanding schedule, Ms. Rivera has found time to record.  Her most recent Christmas album, Born To Set Us Free, was released in December 2019.

Ms. Rivera holds a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University) and master’s degree in vocal performance from University of Maryland, College Park.

Rolando Sanz

Tenor Rolando Sanz enjoys a distinguished and diverse career as a performer, producer, and educator.  In opera, concert, and oratorio performances, Mr. Sanz thrills audiences with his impeccable technique, musical depth, and heartfelt vocal interpretations. He has appeared with opera companies and major ensembles regionally and across the United States and on stages at Spoleto Festival USA, The Princeton Festival, and Aspen Music Festival. Recent opera credits include his Metropolitan Opera debut in Mozart's Idomeneo, and Rodolfo in Fairfax Symphony Orchestra’s La bohème. Mr. Sanz has won prizes in vocal competitions and for the last eight years has performed the national anthem for the Baltimore Orioles opening home series.

Mr. Sanz is passionately involved with the musical landscape of the Mid-Atlantic region as an educator and producer. He co-founded and serves as Artistic Director of Young Artists of America, now the mid-Atlantic's premiere training organization for collaborative musicians.

Mr. Sanz is a proud graduate of the Yale University School of Music.
